Technical headband for active dog handlers

SportBand is a sporty and technical headband designed for dog handlers.

The headbands are made from leftover fabric from the Joy of Dog Sports dog jacket collection. By using the remaining fabric pieces from our dog jackets, we give this premium technical material a new life as gear for handlers. The result is a practical and stylish accessory that also helps reduce material waste.

Because SportBands are made from leftover fabric from dog jacket production, only a limited number of headbands are available. Each batch is produced from a limited amount of a specific fabric colour.

SportBand gives you the chance to experience the same high-performance technical fabric used in Joy of Dog Sports SportWarmer and ProWarmer dog jackets. And if you like, you can even match your outfit with your dog.

SportBand is comfortable to wear in cool, windy or rainy conditions during training sessions, walks and outdoor activities. The fabric keeps wind and rain effectively out while remaining highly breathable, so the headband feels comfortable even during active movement. SportBand is ideal for spring and autumn use and also works well during winter in cold conditions.

The material is a technical performance fabric originally developed for professional human sports, making it perfectly suited for active dog sports as well.

Premium material and smart upcycling

SportBand is made from multi-layer Tekseries® technical fabric, originally developed for extreme and endurance sports in demanding weather conditions.

The same material is used in Joy of Dog Sports SportWarmer and ProWarmer dog jackets.

The advanced membrane structure prevents cold air, wind, and water from entering while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape. This keeps the headband comfortable even during active movement.

Each SportBand is handmade in Finland as part of Joy of Dog Sports’ responsible production.

The #joyofdogsports® collection has been awarded the Key Flag (Avainlippu) and Design from Finland labels, which represent Finnish manufacturing, high-quality design, and responsible production.

About the colour

SportBands are made from leftover fabrics from dog jacket production, which means some colours come from previous collections.

Lilac: the original lilac colour from the very first ProWarmer jackets (2019–2020), which is lighter than the current lilac shade.

This approach allows us to make the most efficient use of premium technical materials.
