Designed for active sports dogs
Developed by SportsK9, the ProWarmer jacket keeps your dog warm and dry in any weather, but it is also highly breathable and allows a full range of movement.
Made with an innovative technical fabric that employs advanced membrane technology, the jacket enables an active lifestyle in any weather conditions. It will protect your dog from wind, rain and freezing temperatures, but because the fabric is extremely breathable, it will also keep your dog from overheating. The jacket has a high-quality fleece lining for extra warmth. Together, these fabrics make the jacket perfect for sports: warm, flexible and very soft, both inside and out.
The jacket’s design is also perfect for sports: tailored to fit dogs of all shapes and sizes, covering all the big muscles and staying in place even at full speed, while still allowing complete freedom of movement. The soft materials are nice and stretchy, so your dog can move freely. The high multipurpose cowl collar can either be folded down to a length of your choice, worn up to protect the neck from rain and wind, or worn all the way up as a hood and tightened to protect the ears. Whichever way you choose, the collar will remain snugly in place.

- The jacket is made with Tekseries®, a soft laboratory-tested multilayer fabric with great stretch, 100% windproof and highly water-resistant, cold-resistant and breathable. The material was originally developed as human activewear, designed for long-lasting use in extreme and active sports performed in challenging weather conditions.
- With 14% elastane, Tekseries® allows complete freedom of movement.
- The jacket lining is high-quality black Oeko-Tex certified fleece.
- The entire jacket features an effective reflective edging that ensures excellent visibility from every direction.
- The jacket has an adjustable waist, a drawstring hood and flexible leg bands.
- Fits dogs with all kinds of tails, including upright ones, thanks to the curved design of the base of the tail.
- The jacket weighs between 250 and 650 g, depending on size. Size 40 cm weighs approximately 350 g.
- Machine wash (delicate wash at 30°C), but do not use fabric softener or tumble dry.
- The #JoyOfDogSports logo is embroidered on the left-hand side.
What size will fit my dog?
Choosing the right size
Please note the following when choosing jacket size:
- The most important measurement is Measurement A, i.e. the back length from the withers to the base of the tail.
- Another important measurement is Measurement C. In this jacket, it is the chest measurement at about 5 cm behind the dog’s front legs. The size chart states the length of the jacket’s waist belt which is adjustable.
- Measurement B is especially important in dogs with a heavier build and/or a heavy coat in order to ensure that the neck opening is large enough.
- When trying the jacket on your dog, it is important to put the leg bands on to ensure that the rear section stays firmly in place and does not push forward when the dog moves. The fabric stretches about 14% to allow complete freedom of movement.
- We have drawn up a separate size chart with example breeds showing the sizes that have been tried and tested to fit these breeds. Please note that this chart is only a guideline and that you should always compare your dog’s measurements to the measurements in the size chart below.

A premium jacket with a great design. Stays in place extremely well during every activity, even on my two very slim female Border Collies and even without the leg bands! The collar makes the jacket highly versatile and, most importantly, it keeps its wearer’s neck warm. The drawstring hood keeps snow from getting inside the collar, ensuring that the jacket stays dry and warm on long walks and on the car ride home. My dogs also seem happy with the jacket: it doesn’t crease or slide down one side, and it holds its place even when my dogs play with each other. The jacket’s design is really great for allowing natural movement because it doesn’t restrict movement in any way but still offers great coverage for the big muscles, keeping them nice and warm. Snow, water and dirt don’t seem to stick to or be absorbed by the surface material at all. A state-of-the-art product that I recommend warmly!

A five-star review just doesn’t seem enough for this jacket – it deserves ten out of ten! It beats the many, many jackets that I’ve had for my dogs over the years. My older dog suffers from spondylosis, and this has been a next-level product for keeping his back warm. I am especially happy with how snugly it fits, keeping cold air from getting under the jacket even at the back. The jacket stays put like it was glued on, even without the leg bands, and it doesn’t keep sliding from one side to another like many other jackets do. The leg bands are good to have when dogs are running and playing hard. This jacket fits my dog like a glove, and all I have to do is slip it on: no adjusting needed.
The jacket is warm without being too heavy, and, what’s best, even though the lining is made of technical fleece, it doesn’t cause Heka’s coat to get the least bit static 😊 And that surface material… You have to feel it to believe how great it is. It’s so wonderfully soft and stretchy, and it doesn’t harden, even in freezing temperatures ❄️ This jacket is worth every cent!
Clothing that promotes my dogs’ well-being and supple muscles is a matter dear to my heart. Anything I put on them must fit really well, enable complete freedom of movement and also remain firmly in place. The ProWarmer is all this, and on top of it, it’s Finnish design ❤ Even my mother, who is a seamstress, was stunned when she felt the jacket. With all these features, I can only imagine the amount of product development this must have taken – designing and making dog jackets takes some serious work. The ProWarmer is an example of every little detail turning out better than well 💜

After just over a week of use, I am absolutely in love with this jacket! My poodle is clipped short and gets cold easily, but we no longer have any trouble staying warm even at -15°C. The material stays soft even in a hard frost.
The jacket fits even a slim dog well and stays put, even without the leg bands, when my dog is running free in the forest; I believe it’s the jacket’s design and wide waistband that ensure that it doesn’t twist and turn on the dog. Never once have I had to adjust the jacket during a walk.
A definite bonus is the long and warm collar that is soft and stretchy, but stays in place really well, even when worn up.
I believe this will be our first choice for windy and rainy autumn weather as well, when it’s crucial to keep my sporting dog warm before and after training sessions. With this jacket, all the big muscle groups are well covered. Thanks to its premium material, rain is no problem. And because the jacket is so breathable, I think it will work great even in warmer weather.
